Our Marketing Director, Lindsay Woodward, has completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Analytics in Marketing course, further developing her knowledge of how businesses can use data to make better marketing decisions.
The course explored the role analytics plays within modern marketing, including how marketers can use data to understand performance, measure results and make more informed decisions about future activity.
As a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Lindsay undertakes regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure her knowledge remains current and continues to develop alongside the changing marketing landscape.
Lindsay comments: “It’s very easy for businesses to look at individual statistics, whether that’s website traffic, social media engagement or the number of leads generated, without really understanding what those figures are telling them.
“Analytics should help us make better decisions. It allows us to understand what is working, what isn’t and where changes may need to be made, rather than relying on assumptions or guesswork.
“The course was a really useful opportunity to build on my existing knowledge and explore how analytics continues to evolve within marketing.”
The training supports Lindsay Woodward Marketing’s strategy first approach, where measurement and monitoring form an important part of ensuring marketing activity remains focused on wider business objectives.
